Except that, as with everything else, things have gotten a lot more complicated for Cap in present day. He's not so much a "man with a plan" anymore, and more "the guy trying to figure out who his friends are and catch up on pop culture references." But that's okay, because heroes aren't really heroes when they have all the answers. We like our superheroes to have their mettle tested.
